The FLIR ThermoSight R-Series Clip-On Thermal Weapon Sight is a standalone thermal weapon sight that provides outstanding images in many environmental conditions day or night: fog, smoke, or dust. It is designed for non-game hunting with a compact and easy-to-use controls. Use the R-Series day or night and detect the body heat of animals against the cooler backgrounds or environments.
The R-series sits on a standard Picatinny rail and has an internal shock reduction system. It is qualified for a MSR semi-automatic platform, up to .30 Cal. There is a combined simple menu interface with many features including: on/off, display gain/brightness, magnification, and polarity – six different palettes. This simple interface gives you access to every key setting in three clicks or less.
The R-Series is built to perform in every condition with a water resistant casing which can be submerged up to 3 feet of water.
